47 BERLIN TECHNO LABEL REBRAND AND ALBUM ART
47 Music Label Berin, Germany
Rebranding Project.
The rebrand of 47 is a deeply personal translation of the label’s sonic identity through my visual process—where experimental analog technique meets digital deconstruction. As an artist and image-maker immersed in the techno underground, I sought to create visuals that reflect the same rawness, unpredictability, and emotional weight carried by the music.
At the heart of this work is Polaroid film—hand-developed using a process I’ve honed over years, one that’s entirely my own. The images are the result of deliberate imperfections: chemical manipulation, time distortion, controlled accidents. Each frame becomes a living artifact, carrying texture, tension, and history.
These analog pieces are then digitally reworked—layered with scans, fragmented, and collaged with other hand-made elements. The process is chaotic and intuitive, echoing the rhythmic dissonance and tactile force that define 47’s sound.
This visual identity is not polished or pristine—just like the music, it breathes with friction, decay, and depth. It’s a collision of image and sound, body and machine, intuition and distortion.
