THE RIVER
Káti V Miláno's 'The River' (2020) is a conceptual interactive project that encourages the public to participate by sharing through writing, their unique ways of perceiving and experiencing their reality and the world around-- ultimately connecting the collective consciousness.
While the participants individually and blindly contribute to the source(and from the source), they are ultimately conversing outside of the limitations of time, depositing their consciousness into a stream that will one day manifest and transmute into a new entity. This collective entity will manifest as and be exhibited through film, sculpture, painting and story telling-- bridging the gaps imposed by society's notions of separation and introduce an interdisciplinary method of creating dialog that isn't bound by the illusion of time or the fabric of its' source.
